Traeger Silverton 620

New Unboxing and Assembly Video here —-> Traeger Silverton 620 Unboxing and Assembly

I was lucky enough to have a Traeger Costco event at my local Costco recently, after several days of deliberating, decided to purchase the Trager Silverton 620 Pellet Grill, the online price from Costco is $899.99 with a $150 off coming to $749.99 delivered, however, in store, this is even cheaper at $649.99, did I need it, probably not, however, I have been looking at the possibilities for a Pellet Smoker, finger crossed, it should be a little easier to use than my Kamado Big Joe II, and when I say easier, I mean different, this is now my fifth BBQ, so 1 for at least 5 occasions, each one should produce a great BBQ experience, and allows more options for comparison between them as I am cooking and taking videos

Weighing in at 182 lbs, when assembling the grill, you have to lift it off the floor, that’s a pretty big dead weight to lift that is unevenly distributed by yourself, in the video, you will see that I could do that on my own with the good old trusted, legs straight, bend with the back method, I would recommend to have 2 people lift the grill at the appropriate time, the video may not show it, but I thought it was going to fall forward as it was almost upright, that would not have been a good thing

As yet, I have not completed the Burn in process, that will come in the coming weeks, all in all, though, as per the video, the initial unboxing and assembly was ~45 minutes (the video is about 25 with sections speeded up), this, however, did not include cleaning up all of the cardboard and plastic bags, which seemed to take longer than the actual assembly

The Traeger Silverton 620 is a top-of-the-line pellet grill that offers a wide range of features and cooking options. The grill has a spacious cooking area, measuring at 620 square inches, which is more than enough space to cook for large groups of people. With this much space, you can easily cook multiple items at once, making it perfect for hosting large BBQ parties or family gatherings. The cooking area is divided into two levels, which allows you to cook different types of food at different temperatures.

One of the standout features of the Silverton 620 is its ability to cook using various methods. The grill can be used for traditional grilling, smoking, roasting, and even baking. The pellet-fueled system allows for precise temperature control, making it easy to achieve the perfect cook every time. This means that you can smoke a brisket at low temperatures for hours, or sear a steak at high temperatures in minutes. The temperature range on this grill is 180°F to 500°F, which allows you to cook a variety of dishes with ease.

Another great feature of the Silverton 620 is its build quality. The grill is made with high-quality materials that are built to last. The grill's body is made with heavy-duty steel and the lid is made with double-walled stainless steel, which helps to keep the heat inside the grill. This ensures that the grill can withstand the elements and last for years to come. The grill also has a powder coated finish that adds durability and make it easy to clean.

The Silverton 620 also comes with a variety of convenient features, such as a built-in meat probe and a digital control panel that allows you to easily monitor and adjust the temperature of the grill. The digital control panel displays the internal temperature of the grill and the temperature of the meat probe, so you can monitor your food without having to open the lid. The grill also has a large hopper that can hold up to 18 pounds of pellets, which means you won't have to constantly refill the hopper during long cooks. The hopper also has a built-in sensor that alerts you when the pellets are low, so you can refill it in time.

Additionally, the grill has a feature called "Keep Warm" which maintains the temperature of your food after it has reached the desired temperature, so your food stays warm while you wait for the rest of the food to be cooked. This is great when you want to keep food warm while you wait for the rest of the food to be cooked.

The Traeger Silverton 620 is also very easy to clean. The grill grates are made of porcelain-coated steel, which prevents food from sticking, and makes it easy to wipe down after cooking. The grease tray can be removed for easy cleaning and the grill also has a drip bucket that catches any excess grease. The drip bucket can be easily removed for cleaning and the grease tray can be cleaned with a scraper.

The Traeger Silverton 620 is equipped with WiFi technology, this allows you to control and monitor the grill from your smartphone or tablet using the Traeger App. This means you can check on your food, adjust the temperature, and set timers from the comfort of your home.

The Traeger Silverton 620 is also equipped with a built-in fan that helps to distribute the heat evenly, which results in a more consistent cooking temperature, which means your food will cook more evenly and be more delicious.

This also allows you to maintain a consistent temperature even when the lid is opened. This grill also has a built-in LED light that makes it easy to cook at night, and the grill also has a built-in tool holder that makes it easy to keep your tools handy.

The grill also has a built-in bottle opener, which makes it easy to enjoy a cold drink while you're grilling. The grill also has a built-in handle that makes it easy to move the grill around, and the grill also has a built-in thermometer that makes it easy to check the internal temperature of the grill.

The Traeger Silverton 620 is a great option for anyone looking for a high-quality pellet grill that offers a wide range of cooking options and features. It is perfect for anyone who wants to take their grilling game to the next level. With this grill, you can easily cook a variety of dishes to perfection, whether you're smoking a brisket, roasting a turkey, or grilling a steak.

In addition to the Grill, I also purchased 4 bags of Traeger Pellets, 2 x 20lb bags, Signature Blend ($14.79 each) and 2 x 33lb bags ($19.99 each), the larger bags were the Gourmet Blend, and the smaller bags were regular pellets, they obviously have slightly different flavors, we’ll see how they turn out over the coming year
