Synco G2A2. Here is what you get

Receiver

Looking at the Receiver its pretty small, measuring in at around 2 inches x 1 5/8 inch

On Top we have a Headphone out jack, if you have someone recording you, they can hear the live output of the microphone

On the left hand side there is the USBC charging connector along with the On/Off, Mono/Stereo button

Nothing on the bottom

On the right hand side there are the Channel A and B Gain controls, along with a hard reset pin hole

On the back there is the clip to securely attach this to whatever you have close by, this will also fit onto a Camera Hot Shoe gun

Transmitter

For the Transmitter, this is pretty much the same same

Now on top we have the in built microphone with the option to add the Windshield as needed

On the right hand side there is the Low Cut button, this will not record anything under the 150hz range once selected

There is also the Pairing button if needed, these are already paired strait out of the box

Lastly on the right hand side is the hard reset pin hole just like the Receiver

The Bottom is empty

On the left hand side, we have the Mute Button, USBC Charging Connector and the External Lavalier Microphone input Jack

On the back we have a similar clip as the receiver, which you can attach to T-Shirts, Belts, Hats etc…..

Power On

Use the Mono/Stereo button to power on the receiver, this needs to be held in for about 3 seconds and the reciever will turn on

For the Transmitter, you will need to press the Mute Button for about 3 sends for it to turn on also, these will immediately start picking up sound and you will see the sound indicators on the TFT Screen start moving around, there is also the battery indicator along with the connectivity link on the Transmitters

Power Off

To power the Transmitters and Receiver off, hold down the same button for powering on for about 3 seconds

Charging

The kit comes with a 3 in 1 USBC Charging cable, this is convenient so that you dont need to carry 2 or 3 cables everywhere you go, the other end of the cable is a USB TypeB connector, these all unplug like any other USBC cables and connectors do for other devices

Lavalier Mics

Next up are the Lavalier Mics, you get two of these in the kit, each has its own WindMuff and Clips, these are pretty easy to assemble, the WindMuff slides over the Microphone, i’m turning it to ensure that the WindMuff covers all of the microphone, and the clip attaches to the bottom of the Microphone

These will then plug into each of the Transmitters

Windshield

Each of the Transmitters comes with a Windshield for the in built microphone, there are small connectors on the Windshield that slot into the holes either side of the Microphone

Receiver Cables

The Synco G2A2 comes with 2 output cables, a 3.5mm TRS cable for cameras, and a 3.5mm TRRS Cable for a mobile phone

You can also plug in almost any Headphones into the 3.5mm jack to hear the live signal

Packing it all away

Now that everything has been taken out, lets see it we can get all of the cables back in to the Hard Shell Carrying Case

The 2 Transmitter and Receiver have their own dedicated spots, with loosely fitting cutouts in the bottom of the carry case

The TRS Camera Cable

The TRRS Phone Cable

3 in 1 Charging Cable

Lavalier Microhone 1 with the Clip and WindMuff attached

Lavalier Microphone 2 again with the clip and WindMuff attached

Windshield 1 for the inbuilt microphone on the Transmitters

And Windshield 2 for the second Transmitter

That’s everything in the Carry Case, this closes pretty easily, no need trying to squeeze everything down, trying to push bits of cables, or parts of the Windshields, zip it up

The voice over for this video was recorded with the Synco G2A2, let me know what you think of the sound quality for the video above
